The world-renowned, 4-Diamond, Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel has been creating lasting memories in the heart of downtown Chicago since 1871. The current building dates to the 1920’s and reflects the gilded age of opulent interior art and truly grand design, symbolic of top hotels of its time. A grand, two-story lobby, often compared to the Grand Escalier of the Paris Opera, features 21 Grecian frescoes designed and created by French painter Louis Pierre Rigal as well as two Tiffany 24-karat gold chandeliers and majestic “Winged Angels” statues.
